Signs By Tomorrow Trade Show Report
As many of you may have noticed from the UASG web site, the UASG has formed an alliance with Signs By Tomorrow ("SBT"). This past week, I participated in the SBT vendor trade show (as part of the 3M booth), in Las Vegas. We had an evening social event and dinner, where I met several of the SBT franchisees. The next day, there was the vendor trade show, where several vendors had booths set up to display their wares. There again, I met many of the SBT franchisees that all seemed very interested in the fact that there are installers for hire, and that there is a national organization to which they belong. I think that it would be a good idea for all of the UASG members to contact the local SBT franchisee in their area and see if there is anything that they can help them with in the way of installs.
We had a UASG banner, brochures and cards to hand out to everyone that was interested in the UASG. Some of you may be getting contacted from these people very soon.
For those that don’t know, Signs by Tomorrow is a national franchise organization with 173 franchise locations. The Signs By Tomorrow franchisees are mostly retail store front locations and are a network of print and sign shops with a national presence, some of which do their own small installs, and either sub out larger projects or just turn them down if they don’t feel qualified to handle the installation of the graphics. Our installation companies can help them bring in that business by letting them know that we are there for them to handle the installs that they don’t feel qualified to take on themselves.
